Apple Inc. has rolled out AppleCare One, a subscription that consolidates protection across multiple devices into a single monthly fee.
The plan begins at $19.99 per month (about Rs 1,660) for coverage on up to three products, including iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac. Additional devices can be enrolled for $5.99 (around Rs 500) each month.
AppleCare One replaces the need for separate AppleCare+ plans for individual devices, delivering potential savings of roughly $11 per month compared with purchasing three standalone policies.
Subscribers gain unlimited repairs for accidental damage such as drops or spills, battery maintenance, 24/7 access to Apple-certified support and expedited service from Apple technicians. Theft and loss protection extends beyond the iPhone to cover iPad and Apple Watch models as well.
Existing devices under four years old may join the plan, removing the previous 60-day enrollment window tied to new product purchases. When a covered device is traded in for a replacement through Apple, the policy automatically transfers to the new device.
AppleCare One will be available in the United States starting July 25. The company has not announced an international release schedule, but industry analysts suggest an India launch could follow given Apple’s expanding market share in the region.
